Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu bersama Bencoolen Coffee meluncurkan program Warkop Digital untuk pelaku UMKM.
Program tersebut merupakan cara pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan internet dalam pengembangan potensi desa, pemasaran, percepatan akses, serta pembukaan lapangan pekerjaan bagi pelaku usaha mikro.
Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah mengatakan Warkop Digital merupakan implementasi untuk melanjutkan program stimulus Penanganan COVID-19 dan Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PC-PEN).
“Saya berharap anak muda Bengkulu siap membangun warung kopi kecil ditingkat desa agar bisa mempromosikan Kopi Bengkulu sekaligus membuka peluang kemudahan untuk bekerjasama dengan usaha lokal,” katanya dalam keterangan resmi, Kamis (11/2/2021).
Menurutnya, pemerintah sudah menyiapkan beberapa program yang menggerakkan ekonomi mikro secara digital pada tahun ini. Namun, impelentasi di lapangan cukup menyulitkan karena kurangnya literasi digital.
Karena itu, pemerintah meneken nota kesepahaman (Memorandum of Understanding/MoU) antara antara Warkop Digital Indonesia dengan University of Dehasen Bengkulu (UNIVED) untuk pendampingan dan pengembangan edukasi.
Menurutnya, Warkop Digital tidak hanya mempromosikan kopi Bengkulu, melainkan menjadi hub kreatif hub untuk mengembangkan usaha di desa desa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet.
“Masyarakat desa akan diedukasi mengenai layanan transaksi nontunai atau digital dalam pembayar listrik, pulsa, pajak, PDAM/Gas multifinance dan transfer uang melalui PPOB dan QRIS di Warung Kopi Digital,” jelasnya.
Acara peluncuran Warkop Digital didukung forum BUMDES Indonesia, mitra Warkop Digital yang tersebar diseluruh Indonesia (Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Pesawaran, Kalimantan sampai Papua), Bencoolen Coffee Malaysia, perwakilan provider telekomunikasi dan vendor IT, serta perwakilan Asosiasi Fintech Indonesia.
