Pemerintah pada tahun 2021 sudah menyiapkan beberapa program yang menggerakkan ekonomi Indonesia salah satunya adalah usaha mikro, UMKM yang menyerap 97 persen angkatan kerja.

Namun yang menjadi problem mereka karena kurangnya literasi digital jauh dari harapan sehingga perlunya platform digital dalam mendukung akselerasi pemerataan tersebut.

Sebagai implementasi melanjutkan program stimulus Penanganan Covid-19 dan Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PCPEN), Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu bersama Bencoolen Coffee meluncurkan program Warkop Digital yaitu program pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan internet dalam pengembangan potensi desa, pemasaran, percepatan akses dan pelayanan informasi serta membangun usaha mikro guna memberikan lapangan pekerjaan melalui kreatif hub Warung Kopi Digital (Warkop Digital).

Peluncuran perdana Warkop Digital dilakukan langsung oleh Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah, Rabu (10/2/2021) bertempat di warung sahara yang terletak di Desa Padang Lais, Bengkulu Utara.

Acara ini diresmikan secara kombinasi offline oleh bapak gubernur yang disaksikan secara online melalui aplikasi zoom bersama perwakilan forum BUMDES Indonesia, mitra Warkop Digital yang tersebar diseluruh Indonesia (Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Pesawaran, Kalimantan sampai Papua), Bencoolen Coffee Malaysia dan perwakilan provider telekomunikasi  dan vendor IT serta perwakilan Asosiasi Fintech Indonesia, logistik, dan vendor aplikasi yang menunjang layanan digitalisasi warung kopi.

Bersamaan dengan peresmian Warkop Digital, ditandatangani MOU antara Warkop digital Indonesia dengan University of Dehasen Bengkulu (UNIVED) dalam rangka pendampingan dan pengembangan edukasi warkop digital di provinsi Bengkulu.

Gubernur Bengkulu juga menghimbau agar pemuda/pemudi Bengkulu menyiapkan diri untuk betul-betul siap membangun sebuah usaha khususnya Warung Kopi Kecil ditingkat desa.

“Agar bisa memberikan manfaat secara luas untuk mempromosikan Kopi Bengkulu juga memberikan peluang kemudahan untuk bekerjasama dengan usaha lokal yang bisa di damping dalam bisnis warung kopi nantinya,” kata Gubernur Bengkulu.

Pemuda juga bisa memanfaatkan Warung Kopi ini sebagai tempat berkumpul dan berdiskusi bahkan bisa juga untuk membangun peluang usaha yang baru.

Kegiatan ini merupakan langkah kongkrit dalam mengangkat ekonomi desa dan para petani kopi.

Jadi usahanya nanti itu tidak hanya Kopi melainkan menjadi kreatif hub dalam upaya pengembangan usaha di desa desa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet. 

Masyarakat desa akan diedukasi mengenai layanan transaksi non tunai / digital dalam pembayar listrik, pulsa, pajak, PDAM/Gas multifinance dan transfer uang melalui PPOB dan QRIS di Warung Kopi Digital.

Selain itu dengan adanya Warkop Digital ini akan memberikan manfaat dalam memasarkan produk unggulan desa dan menjadi sarana komunitasi dan tempat belajar digital secara online yang akan terciptanya lapangan kerja baru bagi pemuda dan pemudi desa.
