Akibat pandemi Covid-19 beberapa sektor terkena imbasnya, termasuk sektor pengolahan hasil tanaman pangan. Tidak dapat dipungkiri Indonesia memiliki sumber daya hasil perkebunan kopi yang tinggi, juga sebagai salah satu komoditas ekspor unggulan Indonesia.
Salah satu upaya mengejar ketertinggalan dan bangkit dari keterpurukan ekonomi, Direktorat Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Perkebunan menyelenggarakan kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis Pengolahan Hasil Perkebunan Komoditi Kopi dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan petani dibidang pengolahan dan pemasaran kopi.
Kegiatan tersebut mengusung tema selaras dengan Warkop Digital yang telah berkecimpung didunia perkopian, yang berawal dari pengolahan hingga pemasaran kopi siap seduh. CTO Warkop Digital, Dadan Hermawan, berkesempatan untuk memberikan materi pada acara tersebut dengan tema “Strategi Penguatan UPH dalam Rangka Peningkatan Market dimasa Pandemi Covid-19” pada Jumat (11/6/2021) di Hotel Santika Garut dengan materi yang disampaikan mengenai “Strategi Pengembangan Brand dan Marketing Kopi Melalui Warkop Digital”.
Warkop Digital merupakan salah satu wadah pemasaran kopi Bengkulu dan kopi nusantara yang dikemas dengan konsep serba digital. Dengan membawa konsep digitalisasi, Warkop Digital dapat menjadi motor penggiat produk kopi yang bisa menunjang pengembangan brand dan marketing komoditas kopi secara cepat dan masif, melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat desa melalui layanan digital dengan kedai kopi sederhana, juga sebagai wadah fasilitas pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan internet untuk mengembangkan potensi desa, pemasaran, percepatan akses, serta pelayanan informasi guna membangun usaha mikro dan lapangan pekerjaan di desa.
Disamping itu, ambisi tingkatkan ekonomi desa pasca pandemi, wujudkan Warkop Digital serta terapkan ekonomi digital di 74.000 desa di seluruh Indonesia menjadi masterplan Warkop Digital.
